StreetFood Market Trier

Hello burger lovers,

yesterday evening I attended the StreetFood Market in Trier (Germany). Many food trucks were present, lots of trucks which I've never seen before, but of course also ones I've tested before.

I actually wanted to try the DADDY food truck, which has been reviewed quite positively during the past months, unfortunately they were already sold out by the time I arrived. What a pity!

That's why I tried a burrito from Burrito Bande. As I am fan of Tex-Mex food, mostly Chipotle Mexican Grill, I have to say that I was a bit disapointed as my Chicken Burrito lacked a bit of taste. The products seemed very fresh though, xext time I'll try the Beef Burrito, that one might be more adapted for my taste buds. Big up's for the very cool and friendly crew though!

After that I tried a burger at Miller's Burger on Wheel. I had the Argentinian Beef Burger, which is composed by a nice bun, an Argentinian beef patty, caramelized onions, salad and tomatoes, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon and a barbecue sauce. The burger was quite small, but was very tasty. I would absolutely recommend this truck, and will surely try more of them.

I was still feeling hungry in the end, but wasn't in the mood for ice cream or the chocolate fruits, that's why I decided to have a classic hot dog at Flo's Finest Hot Dogs. A real friendly crew and a great hot dog which can be pimped with different chillies. I had tabasco powder on mine: HOT!!

In the end I've spend more money than I would spend in a restaurant. But I really liked the experience. I've visited already a few food truck festivals, but this one striked me the most. I paid 3€ entrance, but it was worth it. A nice mix of trucks, a great location (I love the Exhaus), and great beats by DJ Whiz.
